VIRTUAL TOUR PALAZZO SAN GIACOMO

Virtual Tour Palazzo San Giacomo. It is so called because of its location a few kilometres from the centre of Russi, but it was actually the summer residence of the Rasponi Counts. One of the most important historical buildings in the area, the municipality of Russi is restoring it to make it visitable.

First of all, we would like to thank the municipal administration for the trust placed in us, and in particular the councillor for culture Anna Grazia Bagnoli. We will do our best to make a valuable contribution to the growth of tourism in the municipality of Russi.

We have highly scenic ideas to best present the structure using both day and night shots. The Virtual Tour Palazzo San Giacomo will be detailed and fully immersive. This time we will not publish 'work in progress', we want to surprise you when the work is finished. Stay in touch with us on https://www.romagnavirtualtour.it/ We will inform here about the progress of the work.

Virtual Tour Palazzo San Giacomo

6-7 November - Realisation of the first panoramas: the exterior of the Palace. We naturally shot in extreme hdr, at sunset and also at night. The night is clear and the night panoramas even if we are in the presence of artificial lights are very scenic and the starry sky is a fantastic frame on the Palace. The time lapse with the starry sky will be a spectacular introduction.

25 November - Today we shoot interior views of the frescoed rooms (the entire Piano Nobile) and some rooms on the second floor and in the 2 Towers. The light comes only from one side of the rooms, so here too hdr with an average exposure that changes each room. In some rooms we also realise panoramic views only with artificial light directed towards the frescoes, they are very impressive. Now the Palazzo San Giacomo Virtual Tour is starting to take shape.

We are now ready for a rough edit, the work in progress will tell us what is missing to better finish the 360 hd virtual tour we are building

30 November - We filmed some clips that will be used to transport those watching the 360 Virtual Tour through the different areas of the Palace of St. James.

We are now looking for some historical photographs, drawings or prints of the 'Palazzo San Giacomo'. This is to show what the estate looked like from the late 1600′ to the present day. It will be an elaborate and longer construction than expected, but the intention is to make a complete and interesting Virtual Tour for those who will navigate it!
